Attached is a photo our finished fireplace. We are so happy with everything; we just love to share it with people. We tried incorporating things from our family’s past into the room. The Civil War musket and pellet pouch hanging above the fireplace came from my husband’s father (he had found it buried under some old hay in a barn that he was tearing down back in the 1950’s). We also laid four stones from my Great Great Great Grandfather’s foundation from the 1860’s in La Salle , IL that we had found. The deer antlers holding the musket are from a deer that was taken bow hunting one year by my husband; it was a small rack, so we decided to use it here. The ceramics, I have painted over the years including the rattlesnake on the hearthstone on the left! He used to scare the paperboy when I had it outside in my flowerbed.
Hope you enjoy the pictures, thanks again for a great mantle for us to use in our project. We will be sure to let anyone know where we got it, pass on all your great service and quality product.

These cedar slabs, cedar half log mantles and cedar log flatback mantles are custom sawn per your request, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. Please Note; All mantle, slab and lumber dimensions are nominal and may vary plus or minus. If you need an absolute dimension please contact us by phone so that we may try meet your specific needs. Some special requests may increase your final cost or may require upgrading your order to a larger size to achieve your request.
Most mantles and slabs ship in 2 to 4 weeks. Generally shipping charges indicated by the shopping cart are correct but, because of size and weight variations, and due to special charges for some rural areas the shopping cart may not always correctly calculate shipping costs for your order. If shipping charges are not correct we will contact you before your order is processed.
Most of the time shipping on mantles 5 foot long and less is around $75, $95 on 6 foot and $135 on 7 foot mantles which can ship by Fedex or UPS. Shipping on some larger 6 and 7 foot mantles, and most mantles longer than 7 feet is by truckline and will be quoted for your approval by phone or email before you are charged. All mantles 9 feet and longer must ship by truckline.
