Slab sawn (naturally round and tapered edges) Eastern Red Cedar lumber. Also known as Aeromatic Cedar, Eastern Cedar is known for it's deep red to purple heartwood, knots, wonderful smell(think cedar chest) and overall character.
These slabs are sawn flat top and bottom on our bandsaw mill, with naturally tapered round edges on two sides. The taper will generally run 1" to 3" per eight foot of run. Therefore if you need a slab with a minimum width of 12" you would need to order a 15" wide slab. Slabs are generally cut to provide one useable face and two useable edges (please let us know your specific requirements).
May be picked up at our dock or shipped F.O.B. West Plains, Missouri. The shopping cart cannot calculate freight charges due to variation in width, length and weight. These generally cannot ship next or second day air because of size and weight. Call for shipping quote or place your order on the shopping cart and we will contact you with a shipping quote for approval before we charge your card and ship your order. These are custom sawn allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.
The price is per linear or running feet of length. To order select desired width at the drop down menu below then enter the number of running feet required in the quantity field at check out.
